          I would like to start off by introducing myself.  My name is Mrs. Barnes. I am really pleased to welcome you and your child into my class this year. This is my ninth year in third grade. I received my bachelor degree from Cameron University. I’m from the Marlow area and married to my best friend Jayson Barnes. We have three children. Our oldest daughter is eleven and son will turn ten in September. Our youngest just turned three. We attend a local church in addition I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your child in the upcoming weeks. This school year might be a little different while we transform into more online learning. At times it could be challenging for all of us, just remember we are in this together. Anything you need, I’m here to help you navigate through these difficult times. I know at the end of the year students will be proud of their accomplishments. We will have many wonderful experiences and chances to grow in the weeks ahead.
